It's Friday! WOOOOHOOOO!

It's Friday!  ....... And November. 

When did that happen?  Did this sneak up on any of you like it did me?  (Insert questioning eyes with head slightly cocked to one side here.)

We have had one crazy few weeks in my house between birthday parties and knit nights and Halloween.  I however have loved every minute of it.  But with all the normal, kick off the holidays crazy, I got sick....really sick.  Can I just say, the stomach flu STINKS.  It was awful, but thank you for all the support and well wishes.  They were much needed and loved.  You guys rock!

I did find a little time, as did Lydia, to get a few things dyed up for Mondays update.  I'm not gonna spoil anything for you, but I know your gonna love it.  I do.  A lot.  maybe even a-lot-a-lot.  Just sayin'. 

The KAL is going great.  I have loved seeing all the chatter in the thread.  And encouragement!  The pictures that I have seen so far are just amazing.  I can't wait to see what other fun projects get shown off in the weeks to come.  You still have until the end of this month to get your projects done, pictures taken and posted to the finished object thread to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win some pretty cool goodies.

Next, we have a poll going on our groups page on Ravelry.  Go check it out and vote, and we would love to hear your input!  Don't be shy.  We are wanting to do a Magic Yarn Ball kit/swap of sorts.  I've been wanting to do this for a while and I would love to hear what you all are thinking about it.

Lastly--------->  we are still accepting kitted hats, mittens/gloves, scarfs for the shelter drive.  So remember to get those guys in the mail next week so we can send them off.  For those of you who have sent something in, thank you!  The items we have gotten so far are truly amazing.  I love that our group is helping others by doing what we love.
