Good morning Oh! Loopers,
Can you believe it’s already the 9th of November?
Boy this year has flown by! When I woke up this morning and looked out my front
door there was……yep you guessed it SNOW!!!!!! 
In knitting news:
The Fall Oh! Loops Along is in full swing and a few fabulous
items have been knit up by our members. I finished my little shrug and Sarah is
almost finished with her socks. We can’t wait to see what everyone else does.
Don’t forget that you still have plenty of time to get your items uploaded and
entered for prizes! The deadline for this is November 30th at
midnight PST. The winner of this Oh! Loops Along will receive a project bag,
stitch markers, mini skeins and maybe even more!
In group news:
Guess what guys we have almost 300 members!!!! Sarah and I are
so blown away. You guys are totally awesome and we couldn’t ask for better
friends. We have truly enjoyed getting to know you!
Earlier this week we added a poll to our Ravelry page to
gauge your interest in doing a Magic Yarn Ball swap, after looking at the
voting results it appears that you would be interested in purchasing pre-made
Magic Yarn Balls from the shop. Sarah and I talked and we will get some put
together and listed soon so be on the lookout for those.
We also wanted to let everyone know that the knitted items
you donated for the shelter are getting dropped off this weekend. Again we are
so grateful for your kindness, these items are going to a great organization and
will be very appreciated!
In shop news:
We had our first custom orders last week and we can’t even
begin to tell you how excited we were!!! They all went into the dye pots and
will be on their way to the recipients today! We had a blast taking your ideas
and turning them into Oh! Loops colourways.
In addition to custom orders we had some wonderfully sweet
ladies join our YARNIE AA CLUBS!!!!! Oh my gosh guys this is so exciting!!
Sarah and I are jumping out of our skin. We can’t wait to surprise you with
your yarnie goodness and club extras!! For anyone else still interested in
getting the December/January/February club colourways, you still have until
November 30th to purchase those. After November 30th the
listing will be changed and you will then have until February 28th
to purchase your March/April/May subscription.
Okay I think that about covers my news for this week. I hope
you all have a wonderful weekend. Now that the snow has arrived and is still coming down, my fireplace, piping
hot coffee, newest book club book and knitting are calling my name! Lydia
