Narnia Chapter 2 is here!

Lucy, Susan, and Peter have set out on a quest to find the Dancing Nymph. Chapter two represents the more semisolid colorways of this collection. We hope you enjoy knitting with them as much as we enjoyed dying them!

Even as an adult I find it difficult to sleep on Christmas Eve. Yuletide excitement is potent caffeine, no matter your age. ~Carrie Latet

Sarah and I agree with this statement so we wanted to add our own little twist to the Yuletide excitement of the season. So starting today and going until Christmas Eve we will be ELFing people, so make sure you are checking your inbox. If you have been ELFed you will receive a coupon code to use in our shop.  Like a wrapped present the code will be a secret, you won’t know how much the discount is until you use it and each code will be different and unique. These codes will only be good until January 31st so find something you love.
Since we are releasing new coupon codes we wanted to let anyone that was BOOed in October know that if you haven’t used your coupon code yet, don’t wait too long, these codes will be deactivated December 31st 2012, so don’t miss out on your discount.

We have a few other reminders that I’m sure some of you are anxious for. The first being the release of Narnia Chapter 2. The second half of this collection goes up on Monday December 17th, and has the more semi solid skeins and a variegated or two. Here is a sneak peak!!!

The other exciting reminder is for our Yarn AA Club members. We are excited to report that your December club colourway will be shipped out on Friday December 21st!!! We can’t wait for you guys to get them.

Our third and final reminder is also our most important. We wanted to let everyone know that with Christmas right around the corner, both Sarah and I will have family in town and we feel that it is important to spend time with our families this time of year. So with that said we wanted to inform everyone that our shop will be on a sending hiatus. Our last mailing day before Christmas will be Friday December 21st. Please note, if you purchase something from the shop after December 21st, it will not be shipped until the following Friday December 28th. Thanks guys.

Okay I have to say goodbye for now. There are only 10 day until Christmas and I still have 9 things on my list to knit. I don’t know about you but those numbers don’t really add up ahhhhhhh!!!
I hope wherever you are and whatever you are doing it bringe a smile to your face. I've said it once and I'm sure I will say it again....Merry Christmas Oh! Loopser!!!

The first stocking will included the more variegated colourways and the second stocking will have the semi solid skeins. We hope you enjoy, it was a fun collection to create.

So without further ado I give you “Narnia” chapter 1 just went live in the shop!!

A Great Day for Oh! Loops

Today Sarah and I had the opportunity to join a huge group of talented Etsy Shop owners at the Inland Northwest Team’s, Handmade Holiday Craft Fair. It was so much fun and a wonderful way to meet some really great people and crafters.

As I mentioned on Friday we were invited at the last minute and promptly went into panic mode. Well guys it must have worked because we managed to create a new collection, part of which will go up in Monday’s shop update, and bring together a very nice, well thought out booth display; we did learn a lot for next time however. Here are a few pictures of our booth.

Oh! Loops had a good day business wise, below is a picture of one of the new Narnia colourways that sold. This is Edmund; he will be the only Pevensie child missing from our Narnia collection (unless Sarah and I decide to recreate him, in some way lol)

We also had a great day personally. Sarah and I both found so many wonderful trinkets and goodies that we fell in love with. If you guys get the opportunity you should check out these other great shops:

Beautiful and quirky jewelry,

Gorgeous vintage house wares and jewelry,

Wonderful hand sewn items,

Cute and very fun designer wallets and coin purses,

We had the opportunity to chat with and buy from these wonderful ladies. We were truly blown away by the amazing talent from not only these ladies but many others as well. We look forward to being a part of this show again next year.

Now that we have shared our fun and exciting news, we need to give some updates and a few reminders.

First, Sarah and I have had not only a crazy week, but a crazy month. Sometimes it just happens and there is no controlling it. We realized that we weren’t the only ones that have been super busy, so we decided to extend the deadline for the Fall Oh! Loops Along until Monday. So smile, take a deep breath, and keep knitting away on those awesome projects until Monday.

We also wanted to let you know that due to our shop being on vacation most of the day Friday and Saturday we have extended the deadline to get in on the Dec/Jan/Feb club subscription. Remember when ordering, if you decide to, the subscription is for three months. You will receive three skeins that will combine some combination of Blue, Gray, Red and Pink. Not every skein will have every color but at least one of the above. The Dec/Jan/Feb club subscription will remain in our shop until Tuesday. On Tuesday that listing will be removed and there will be a new listing for Mar/Apr/May and it will contain all new color combinations.

Well it’s been a very long day so I am going to say goodbye and goodnight for now. Thanks guys talk to you soon!!!
